There were three separate occasions in elementary school when I convinced myself I was going to write a novel. I’m not talking about at some point in my life, I’m talking about right then and there. Somewhere deep in the files of our old, dusty desktop lie a few chapters about God knows what, and somehow it still wasn’t until a decade later that I began to consider myself a writer.

Born and raised in Austin, if you need proof email me, by two of the most creative people I know, I was always encouraged to express myself in inspiring ways. Growing up, I wanted to be a singer, dancer, actor, model, and or rich, but all roads led to copywriting. In my spare time I still enjoy writing songs and acting out T.V. interviews as my alter ego alone in my bedroom. I know my tone does not match the picture to the right, and that is because I am like an onion.

All jokes aside, I’m an incredibly ambitious creative and I’m looking forward to making change through my writing. And my biggest piece of advice to you, do not be afraid to be weird.
